Ted Oh and Gavin Flint at the Brunei Open
South Korea's Ted Oh hit five birdies and an eagle at the 15th with his Iron Set, but missed makeable birdie putts at the second and the fourth which would have seen him top the leaderboard outright.
"I'm playing well and I'm giving myself a lot of chances out there," said the 32-year-old Oh, who is based in California."I feel I can do better. I'm doing well on those tough ones but I'm letting those easy ones slip by. But I'm sure it'll get better."
Flint, meanwhile, recorded seven birdies in his seven-under effort and the then admitted he was surprised to shoot such a low score.
"I haven't been playing too well so today was a bit of a shock," the Australian said.
"I hit the ball better and I putted well. I just want to stay consistent and hopefully have more birdies."
Boonchu Ruangkit, Lu Chien-soon and Mardan Marmat are tied for third, a shot off the pace with a further five players on five under.
